PMS would be a funny thing to see on a website like this. You might even think I was simply putting up random words to try and get search engine hits. You’d be wrong–I’m not trying for search engine hits. Honestly I don’t care about that. And in my case, P.M.S. means something other than what you’re probably thinking anyway. What does it mean? Well, I was getting ’round to that.
Parked Motorcycle Syndrome. It’s the thing I get anytime my bikes have to sit in a garage for more than a week or so due to bad weather (or my own or a family members’ sickness). Puts me in a mood for sure. Fortunately, January 17 saw temperatures here in Central Oregon climb high enough that I was able to go ride for a couple of hours–despite gusty conditions. I took the KLR out Alfalfa Market Road to Reservoir Road to G. Millican Road and back into Bend via Hwy. 20. I worked in a bit of dirt by turning onto the very well-cared-for-even-this-time-of-year dirt part of Rickard Road.
As I write this, the sun is shining and the temperatures are climbing. With a little luck, I’ll be able to get out again this weekend. We’ll see.
