Bye Bye Kawi

Sold my KLR650 last Friday for a whole whopping 1500 bucks. Not bad considering I put 20,000 miles on it over the last 3.5 years and only paid $1700 for it to start with. Granted it had lots of upgrades and replaced parts in the process, but I feel like I got soooooo much more out of that bike than I ever put into it that I have NO complaints. It will definitely go down in my mind as one of the best bikes I’ve ever owned. Maybe now that it’s gone I can finally write a review of it.

Here’s a couple more pics of it heading for it’s new home.

So what’s next? A bike on the bucket list perhaps? For now, I think the cash is getting tucked away into savings. Not fun, but the smart thing to do. I’ve already added the heated grips and battery tender lead to the Ural and changed all the oil in it over the weekend. Set for a long, no real motorcycle kinda winter. Brrrrrrrrrrr. Don’t know if I’ll survive.
